Anthony Gordon, a forward for Everton, has been signed by Newcastle United in a move that might ultimately cost £45 million. Chelsea was interested in the 21-year-old, who has played for Everton since he was 11 years old. It is believed that the original charge will be £40m, with add-ons increasing it to £45m.

Brighton declines Arsenal’s second Caicedo offer

Arsenal’s second attempt to acquire Moises Caicedo from Brighton was denied, and the club is now considering making a club-record offer for the midfielder. Despite leading Arsenal to the top of the Premier League standings, Mikel Arteta is eager to strengthen his team before the January transfer window shuts. The Premier League leaders have made Caicedo of Ecuador their late target after having their initial offer of £60 million rejected last week. On Sunday, Arsenal reportedly made a revised £70 million offer to Brighton, but that bid was also ‘immediately rejected,’ according to Sky Sports.

Soonsup-fee Bell’s is agreed upon by Spurs.

Jude Soonsup-Bell, a striker for Chelsea’s Under-21 team, will join Tottenham for a set sum to help the team’s development programme. The 19-year-old is well-liked at Cobham but has chosen to end his contract after six months because he wants to pursue another career route. When Soonsup-Bell passes his physical and signs his new contract, Spurs are now anticipated to finalise the signing.
