The Wife cast kisses goodbye to actress Zikhona Sodlaka (Mandisa)
The cast of Zikhona Sodlaka, a fiery fan favourite and star of Showmax’s top drama The Wife, has said goodbye. Mandisa (Zikhona Sodlaka), whose husband Nqoba Zulu (Abdul Khoza) had been buried the week before, was at the heart of all three.
Zikhona, who played Mandisa, was nominated for Best Female Actor at the 2022 DStv Mzansi Viewers’
Choice Awards and Best Supporting Actor at the 2022 SAFTAs
—award ceremonies where Abdul was named Best Actor and Mandisa was named Best Supporting Actress.
The record-breaking, multi-award winning telenovela’s co-stars, who worked with Zikhona, highlighted what they appreciated about working with her:
“Mandisa will always be in our hearts,” said Abdul Khoza.
