PAKISTAN STEEL MILS (PSM) is a Public Sector Company that seeks to attract a dynamic and results oriented leader with immaculate credentials for the challenging position of the CEO. The Company is undergoing revival, following its closure in 2015. The Company is in need of a Leader who can protect and manage the assets of the company, operate to attain financial self-sufficiency and facilitate the process of inducting a private sector partner to invest in the Mills and manage its operations. The ideal candidate should have excellent Management background with strong leadership skills and abilities to establish strong relationship with key stake holders and additionally. develop a fresh Organogram for the reconstituted Pakistan Steel Mills (PSM) minus the Privatized segment. The candidate must also possess good knowledge of the Retrenchment Process and Labour Laws



Master Degree, preferably in Management, Public Administration, Business/Strategic Studies.
Having overall 25-Years and above of experience, out of which at least 7-Years in Senior Management positions in large scale
Public/Private Organizations. • Age should not be more than 62-Years at the time of applying.
• Have proven leadership qualities for running the affairs of a Large Industrial concern in Pakistan. • Thorough understanding of Public Policy challenges and
Preferences. JOB PROFILE:
Handling the administrative affairs of PSM during the journey to Privatization.
Experience of handling complex and important Human Resource Management issues, like Retrenchment and Labour Laws.
Interacting with Provincial Administration and Law
Enforcement Agencies to resolve complicated issues of
Ability to coordinate with Federal Government Organizations/
Departments for supporting Privatization Process of PSM.
Thorough understanding of working in unionized environment.
Be capable of handling the Media & Media related issues. Any other function defined under Memorandum and Articles of
Association of PSM and SECP laws. The position will be Karachi based on occasional travel to
