Cassper Nyovest organised a fun run with some neighbourhood residents in his hometown of Maftown (Mahikeng), in North West, ahead of his #FillUpMmabathoStadium performance on December 3.
The rapper posted pictures from the occasion to his Instagram page, thanking the fans who came.
“I adore you, Maftown. Today, we flooded the streets with love, joy, and comradery. You’re welcome for coming. This holiday season, we’re promoting a healthy lifestyle. We’ll #FillUpMmabathoStadium next week “He wrote the post’s caption.
When Cassper sold out his first #FillUpTheDome show at the Ticketpro Dome in Randburg, Johannesburg, in 2015, he launched his concept of “FillUp” concerts.
Later, in 2016, he organised a #FillUp concert at Orlando Stadium, and in 2017, at FNB Stadium, Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, and Royal Bafokeng Stadium in Rustenburg. Every time, he strives to make it bigger and better, and he won’t let the doubters stop him.
“I used to give people’s opinions a lot of thought. I used to be good at pleasing people, but as I got older, I started doing what I wanted to do. I don’t care if other people like the music I’m doing because I want to.
Regarding the #FillUpMmabathoStadium show, he said to TshisaLIVE, “I don’t want to do what people want me to do; I’ve done it for too long.
“I’m anxious to perform another fantastic show. It’s precious to me not just because it’s my hometown, but also since my grandmother’s house is only 2 kilometres away.
A few surprises await us.
With #FillUp, it’s all about the iconic stage; we refer to it as the “Cassper moment.” We are continuously constructing for the Casper moment. I’m anticipating
