According to reports, Gqom’s queen Babes Wodumo, whose true name is Bongekile Simelane, has returned to live with her parents, who are seeing to her recovery from hospitalization.

This follows last month’s story in the Isolezwe IsiZulu newspaper that the musician was in severe condition.

Babes is OK, a source told the newspaper. “She’s getting ready for the holidays and wants to be completely prepared,” the insider said.

Isolezwe’s sources allegedly told him that Babes was very unwell and had breathing problems. Another source told the publication that she had suffered greatly as a result of losing her spouse, Mampitsha.

After having a minor stroke, the Big Nuz group member passed away on December 24. The couple is the parents of a 2-year-old kid.

CONTRADICTING MEDICAL REPORTS REGARDING BABIES WODUMO
While the singer’s supporters have expressed concern for her health, her sister and manager, Nondumiso Simelane, has insisted she is in good condition.

Isolezwe was informed that the celebrity had been performing abroad when the Durban events took place in July.

“We informed the organizers of both events about missing the event due of our return journey home, and they were understanding of the circumstance.

The health of Babes Wodumo is excellent. They may be supposing she is ill because of her silence on social media. Her own album and Mampintshas are her two current projects, according to Nondumiso.

“Her sister knows she’s not physically capable of performing, but she still gets signed up,”

This puts her under greater strain and harms her reputation,” a source said.

In the near future, Babes Wodumo will also release a new album. She will also release the record that Mampintsha was working on before he passed away.
